Seriously, this is the neatest thing I've made in ages!! I LOVE it!! I just got some of the new fabric from the Occasions Mini Catalog and had big plans to make a notebook cover with it.... Well, I didn't want to waste any of that yummy Stampin' Up! fabric if my idea didn't pan out. So, I pulled out some fabric I had on hand and made this!!

The flower is actually a pin that I can remove and wear if I want! It's made with the new Fun Flowers Bigz L Die, also available in the Occasions Mini Catalog! When I cut all of the flower shapes and assembled the flower, it looked too flat. To fix that, I sprayed them with heavy starch and then pressed with my iron. While they were still warm and damp, I scrunched it in a ball and let it dry. When they were dry, I opened them up and layered the petals. I punched a hole in the center with my Crop-A-Dile and fastened with a Jumbo Brad.

For The Newlyweds

If you remember from my last post, my friends were just married! I thought I would show you their wedding card. Kassie picked out the coolest colors for her wedding! So bright! I think the pumpkin pie and the melon mambo go great with the very vanilla!! And then those pearls make the flourishes in the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder stand right out! :)

Congratulations!!

A very dear friend of mine just found out she's having a baby!! I'm so happy for her! Her and her beau were married on January 1st and are over the moon with joy! Congratulations Kassie and Jason!

Here is the card I made to congratulate them! :) Obviously they don't know what they're having yet so I stuck to neutral baby colors. I think my watercoloring skills are picking up! :) What do you think about that embossed border? Pretty cool huh?? It's the Framed Tulips Embossing folder from the new Occasions Mini Catalog! I'm head over heals over EVERYTHING in this catalog!!

I know! Once again, I've let you down. I've been a bad blogger. :( October and November were my best months with Stampin' Up! and didn't have much spare time to blog. On top of that, I picked up another part-time job! You should have seen my calendar! WOW! It was crazy!! December was full of sickness too.
