I'm a little late....

My nephew's first birthday was on June 24th - can you believe it's been a year already!? I sure can't! A few ladies in my family and I made these invitations for the small event! I chose Choo Choo before he was born for his first birthday. Nothing like being prepared. lol. My sister picked primary colors for his decorations so, I thought the colors of the invitation fit well.

Cardstock: Night of Navy, Whisper White
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie, Sahara Sand
Accessories: Paper Snips and Stampin' Dimensionals


I also made this rag quilt for his birthday gift. He loves to touch things so I thought the different textures of the Minky fabric would be nice. It's soft and bumpy. I made it 50" x 60" so he will be able to use it for years to come. I think he liked it. What do you think?? He's just so stinkin' cute!! :)
